SolarHomes Rebate

What a success!

Efficiency NS announced this week that the SolarHomes Rebate program, which saw homeowners receive a rebate up to $10,000 on their solar PV installation, has had nearly 600 applications.

Wow!

So, they’re going to lower the rebate from $1/watt to 85 cents, and the cap is now $8,500. This will be in effect on April 1st, or when they receive 200 more applications, whichever comes first.

We’re thrilled with the program so far, and even with the slightly lower amount it’s still a great rebate! We’re now booking installations into July and August, so if you want to go solar this year, get in touch!
