Amanda has an extensive background in marketing, sales and event management. Before joining Skylit in 2016, she spent 5 years as Director of Creative & Production for MBS Radio. She has also worked as an Account Manager for Annapolis Valley Radio, was General Manager of Yuk Yuk’s Halifax, and VP Activities & Events for the StFX Student Union. She lives near Berwick with her husband, Hunter, and two cats, Jordan and Pippen; and enjoys horseback riding, ringette, soccer and running. She is also Vice Chair of the Free Spirit Therapeutic Riding Association (FSTRA) board of directors. She's always had an interest in social responsibility and environmental sustainability, and is excited to be part of building an industry that will continue to bring good jobs to Nova Scotia, while helping in the fight against climate change.
